November in the Woods....

Just a few from our annual Thanksgiving family camp/hunt trip....

Dogwoods are Springing.....

Spring has finally arrived....sort of. The temperatures are still all over the place but Im happy to see that some of the plants in my yard survived our very nasty winter (for the South) and are slowly sending out new green leaves. There is a Dogwood on our property that is beginning to bloom.....so ready for warmth and colors of spring.

So, back in the Spring 2013 I did some photos that I had intended to use for my encaustic projects....that was their sole purpose when I set out to take them however.....its ummmmm February 2014 now and I still have not made it around to working with them except for 2 I did for Christmas gifts. So,  I figured I needed to just go ahead and share them. What better models can a girl ask for than her daughter and her best friend...
